I do not succeed to create my own ‘How To’ tips, following the instructions in the help for PS-CS.

I can create a top level menu item with one sub-menu item, but if I add more sub-menu items, it fails. It tries to read the name of the second item as if it were a file name.

My entry in the index file is of the form:

"My Top Level Menu" "Sub-menu item 1" MyTips.html

This works, but now if I want to add another sub-menu item:

"My Top Level Menu" "Sub-menu item 1" "Next sub-menu item" MyTips.html

The browser tries to read ‘ "Next ‘ as a file name, and of course fails.

Can anyone help, please?

Moshe,

AFAIK the help menu only supports one level of cascading sub-menus

Len,

One level is fine, that’s what I want to do. All the sub-menu items are supposed to be on the same level, but as I explained above, it does not work for me, although I think I did exactly what the help says.

I’m interested to know if anyone did it successfully, and if so, what am I doing wrong.

Moshe,

I’d like to be able to help, but when I tried to reproduce your problem I discovered that on this machine editing the Add_001.howto (or even just opening and re-saving in a text-only editor) removed the menu item completely!

Until I can find a way of getting it working normally again, there’s not much I can suggest…..
