What 3rd party plug-in filters do you experts use/like the most? I’ve noticed that there is quite a bit of overlap with Photoshop filters, and it would be helpful (hopefully to many of us) to know which ones render the most professional results. For example: which filter do you like best for B&W conversion, soft focus, sharpening etc. Thanks in advance for your input.
Regards
Tibby

How long is a piece of string? There are so many filters available to Photoshop, and many that do the same job equally as well and others (which then comes down to personal preference). For most users, the built in sharpening and b&w conversion features of Photoshop should work well without having to resort to 3rd party filters. What type of work will you be doing with Photoshop, Tibby? If you let the group know what your intentions are as far as what type of work you will be doing and what type of images you would normally be working with, I am sure there will be plenty of response to your question. There are many specific filters for particular types of work.
Brian.

I usually find my brain is the best Photoshop plug in. <g>

Other than that Andromeda Lens Doc and AutoFX Dreamsuite, Mystical Lighting and Flaming Pear’s Flood. That’s it.

I usually prefer to control effects myself rather than letting the computer decide for me 🙂
