Hello

Is there any great reason why the Histogram and Info should not be rolled into one tab? There is enough space to do it.

There isn’t enough space on all monitor resolutions supported by Photoshop.

BTW: have you found the new 16 bit values option for the Info Palette? Once activated it shows up to 5 digits instead of only 3. Space? Hmm, I don’t think so!

I don’t think so either. Actually, the info palette is too small to contain before and after values, when the 16 bit value option is enabled.

Maybe a stupid question, but would it be wrong if Levels or Curves was showing 16 bit values too, when working with 16 bit images (per channel)? As I see it, it would be easier to understand because why does it show only 256 levels per channel when the image has 65536 levels per channel, or am I missing something here?

If there’s a setting for that too in Photoshop CS, I haven’t found it yet.

Hello

No I had no seen 16 bit values.
As far as I am concerned, a bit over the top.
Also for consistencies sake, why not 16 bit levels in the levels dialogue.
