Hi,

Friend asks the following question:

" I create lots of PowerPoint shows with my photos. I shoot in th highest resolution, and have been sizing them by pulling in the phot from a corner until it fits the slide. I need to know the size of PowerPoint slide and then find a way to resize 100 or so images a once. If you can find the answer you will be saving me lots of time."

TIA,

Conra

You guys drive me friggin crazy with PowerPoints that I have to convert to web pages. You have PS/CS? Good. Use Image Size, and make the max-pixels on the horizontal something realistic. Maybe 640pixels, although 420pixels fits most better. Do that.

Conrad, by default, Powerpoint will make a slide that will expand/reduce to fill your screen. Therefore, your screen resolution will determine the size of the powerpoint slide. eg. if you have your screen set at 1024 x 768, then your powerpoint slide will effectively be 1024 x 768 (when viewed on YOUR monitor).
You will need to determine how much of the slide you want your images to take up on the slide (you may want to leave a border, etc, or fill the whole slide with the image) to determine the size of your image. Hope this helps, Brian.
