Does anyone know of any tools for creating or editing Photoshop AMP files? I am interested in being able to create my own lookup tables that I can load as a curve layer. Also, it seems that even when in "16-bit" mode, an AMP file
still only has 255 values per color. Any comment on this?

Thanks

I wrote a program to save sets of RGB in/out values as either a curve (acv) or map (amp) file. I’ve uploaded it to:

Hopefully it’s fairly self-explanatory – I wrote it for my own use, so didn’t worry about things like help files!

Thanks, will try it out. Do you know if PS interpolates between the 255 points when it is processing ’16-bit- files?

When you refer to 16-bit files, do you mean 48-bit files (16-bit per channel)?

I’m afraid I don’t know, but I would be very surprised if it didn’t!
