"Flashy" eyes after red eye removed

Hi
I was forced to do some low level light pics with just the internal flash (canon eos10D)
which yielded the dreaded "red eye".When I removed the red I was left with large flash light
reflections (huge highlights?)which still impart an "alien"or "demonic" quality to the eyes.
Do I have to reconstruct the irises/pupils in PSCS (how?) or is there some other way to recover
more natural looking eyes?

Thanks

Sam

Can you post an example (not on this group, of course) of what you are ending up with?

What you will have to Sam, unfortunately, is "paint in" some of the eye to reduce the size of the ‘light’ area. Use either black, or a sampling of the eye colour itself if there is any to sample from. Just a few dabs will fix the problem and should be inconspicuous if done properly. If you want to send me one of the pics, I can show you what I mean.

Brian.

Well, Brian, that all depends on which Sam you are talking to… If you are asking *me* to send you one of the pics, then the Sam you thought was the right Sam is not the Sam that you want sending the pic! That Sam would be a different Sam than the present Sam… 😉
