I am trying ot use color management to calibrate the output of my monitors for printing. I have two gateway 18" flat panel digital dispalys. I called Gateway and they did’t have a clue what I was talking about.
It creates an ICC profile compatible with ICM 2.0. The setup asks me to choose from a set of phosphors (I didn’ think digital had phosphors!)
the choice are
EBU/ITU,
HDTV (CCIR 709),
NTSC (1953),
P22-EBU,
SMPTE-C (CCIR601-1) and Custom.
If I choose custom it lets me input a set of decimals for X and Y of RGB values, It also asks for a kelvin temp for a white point (whick if using digital input) cannot be changed.
Can anyone give me instructions (easy) or a how to? thanks so much
