How do I get my palettes and tool boxes on one monitor and the image I am editing on a second monitor?Open Photoshop. Drag the palettes onto the second monitor. Go to Window/Workspace/Save workspace. You can do any number of different workspaces/set ups and name them differently and switch between them. Your image will always open in the PS main window. For slightly more detail, use your Help File, go to Index, W and read about Workspaces.

Thanks for this – it’s exactly what I am looking for.Hell no, that would make it *way* too easy 😉
I spent a frustrating hour or two examining the index in PS CS, and the on-line tutorials without finding a single reference to multiple monitor support. (The seach argument ‘workspace’ did not occur to me). Perhaps this says something about the product help and product support functions. There should be a more effectve search algorithm or mechanism.
