Howdy,

I have an animation that I would like to paste multiple times on a new animated gif, but I can’t figure out how. When I open up the first animated gif in ImageReady, I can select all, but pasting this into the new file only copies one frame.

Is there a method of copying/pasting all sequences in the animated gif to the new one?

Thanks for any suggestions you may have for me,

Jon

you are pasting it into ImageReady, Correct?? and not photoshop…. just checking…

also, you must have the animation window open and the first (default) frame selected, then paste.
that should do the trick

Yeppers, I’m in ImageReady. It’s version 3.0.

That’s exactly what I tried, but all that is copied is that particular "frame" in the animation
sequence, and not the entire sequence.

I do appreciate your help, though.

Open two documents
The one you want to paste into (e.g Pastein)
and the one you want to select frames from (e.g. Pastefrom)

Select the frames you want to copy from Pastefrom by clicking on the first required frame in the animation sequence then Shift-clicking the last required frame. This will highlight the required frames. Click on the arrow top right of the animation palette and click Copy Frames from the pop up menu

Move to your second document (Pastein) and select the place in the animation sequence where you wish to paste the copied frames by clicking on it. Click on the arrow top right of the animation palete and this time choose Paste Frames from the pop up menu.
A selection box will apppear giving you a choice of ways to paste into the sequence

Hope this helps.
