This may be a silly question but it’s just something that’s really been bugging me…

I’m using PS 7.0 and when painting with the brush tool I’m constantly going back and forth between normal and multiply mode. I want to be able to hit a key with my left hand to switch modes while keeping the pen where it is on the tablet with my right. I find the Shift+Alt+"N" and Shift+Alt+"M" key combinations very difficult to hit with just my left hand. Is there a way to program a function key or something to make this easier.

Thanks,
Jennifer Morris

Jennifer,

The only way to do it like your asking is to create an action and assign it a hotkey. That way you can toggle your blend modes between the two, and you’ll have more freedom in which keys are convenient to use.

Peace,
Tony
