I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the assistance of YrbkMgr (aka: TonyK), Mathias Vejerslev and Trevor Morris, three standout participants on this forum, for their technical assistance and contributions to a Photoshop Actions tutorial recently posted for download.

This is a comprehensive tutorial with lots of content for action rookies as well as topics that will be of interest to those whose actions experience ranges from some to a lot.

It’s available here: <http://www.atncentral.com/installing.htm>

Thank you Tony, Mathias and Trevor.

I’ll always be grateful for the technical knowledge you share through your forum participation and/or your web sites, and your willingness to help others regardless of where they are in the steep Photoshop learning curve.

Danny,

Don´t thank me. AFAIR, I wasn´t of much help to you!

I´m glad you finally got it done, you´ve been working on this for a long while. I´m sure we will all benefit from your work (I know we all benefit from your tireless participation in various forums across the web).

Maybe a new candidate to Phosphor’s resource thread?
Thank you all for that!

Wow Danny,

This thread slipped by me the first time (now it’s on page 2) and I just want to say—what an amazing job you have done in my quick look at your site. I printed out the table of contents so I could sit and relax and "drool." I’ve been hard at the computer today and the couch is calling my name.

This discovery comes at a great time for me. I’m just acclimating to CS PS and it was on my list of "to do’s" to figure out how to transfer my PS7 actions to CS. Looks like I found the perfect resource.

One of you "smart people" needs to make sure that Danny’s efforts is put someplace that all of us from now on can access and benefit from.

I look forward to reading your "stuff" Danny.

Hat’s off to you!

Patty 🙂

Well, I’ve read the first 25 pages so far. Terrific job Danny.

Great writing style and very understandable for us "newbies."

Patty:

I greatly appreciate your kind words. I was hoping the presentation wouldn’t bury and discourage those new to actions.

I’d be very interested in getting feedback from you as you plow through it, especially on any areas that don’t quite make sense, suggestions, etc.

Use the e-mail address on the first page of the tutorial, if you would.

Thanks much.
~Danny~
