I seem to remember the start icon on my taskbar being the Photoshop Eye. Now it is showing as a computor icon.
When I right click the icon & go to properties/change icon It shows the Eye. I am using Windows 98SE.Does anyone have any ideas.
(The icon does work)

I haven’t had 98se for some time so I’m a little foggy on details but you probably want to do a net search on how to increase the icon cache in the registry. I think the default is 1024 but it can be increased to 4 times that. Like I said, I can’t be sure. Before you do that though check to make sure the proper icon is selected… right click on the icon, select Properties, Shortcut tab, Change Icon. If the Photoshop icons don’t come up in the Change Icon window then browse to Photoshop.exe and select the correct icon.

Download Tweak UI for W98, install it and run "Rebuild Icons" in Repair Tab.
