Hi folks,
my copy of Photoshop 7 which was fine untill yesterday now refuses to open. It goes through all the usuall startup up but then disappears. I have tried to reload it and it has not fixed the problem. How do I fix this or how do I ensure that it is fully un-installed before reloading it. John

I believe by "reloading" the OP meant reinstalling, in witch case he is starting with a fresh preference file.

I don’t think reinstalling creates a new preference file… Isn’t it created when the program is running?

Yes, and no. I’ve seen reinstallations where all the files don’t get deleted frequently. I don’t know if this happens with PS, but it’s possible.
