Hello All:

I am new to Photoshop and would like some direction as to what are good sites for tutorials?

Thanks!

Please read your manual first. Then visit your local bookstore and buy a cup of coffee and peruse the various books. Then, start
messing around and determine what sort of tutorial you need. Your first 10 years you should be able to learn something new
everyday.

Well, that’s about right. Did the same with PSP and now that’s a breeze. Since I’m new with PS I have to realize that the commands are a little different. It’s sort of like trying to learn how to walk all over again.

When I got PS I got the dummy book, it’s not expensive and gives you a clear written way to learn about the program. Then, when you are stuck you can go on line for a tutorial you need for that project.

I has been stated that if you casually use Photoshop you could become good in 5 years and if you intensively study it for a full year you could become very good and if you intensively studied it for 5 years you could become an expert.

Obviously by someone who wasn’t an expert 😉
