What else is Adobe providing the government with? My registration information? Are they next going to analyze my patterns of usage and put other vendors in touch with me ‘to help me’? I’m not doing anything illegal, immoral, or unethical, but I am on a no-call list and I have anti-spam filters and I strongly resent being spied upon no matter what the alledged justification. I’m so outraged that nothing but obscenities and threats come to mind. This is what so many of my generation died defending? I would like the president and the board of Adobe to come to my house for a private conversation about this, but they have shown themselves to be spineless profiteers who wrap themselves in the cloak of patriotism.

You successfully filter out spam, and I think you are right in doing so. But why do you continue to use the, aparently hostile PS? Because you need it?

I absulutely don’t believe in the conspiracy theories that are about on this forum lately. Open up a topic about "Adobe spying on us", "Adobe thinks I’m a counterfeit money maker" etc. and your"e sure that the thread will hover on top for months before it’s (finally) made R/O.

Let’s stop acting so bored like we haven’t got anything else to do, and do some fine editing again. Help each other and compose tips and new methods and tutorials again.

I have a comm program that monitors INTERNET activity. I have started and stopped CS and opened the money file that generates the message and no INTERNET activity occurs. Unless it saves up info and sends at a specified time or period of being open (unlikely ) then it doesn’t send info to anyone.

I think we’ve probably hit the apex of what CS does or doesn’t do. Adobe will do nothing about it so keep your copy of 7 for the few times you scan money images and move on.

Marc,

What else is Adobe providing the government with? <<

And what do YOU think Adobe is providing the government with (other than a lot of corporation tax revenue, of course!)?

IOW, the ‘else’ in your message is completely spurious and meaningless – they’re not ‘providing the government’ with anything every other corporate body does.

Why do you think "the government" has the least bit of interest in what Marc Widzowski is doing?
