I assume there are a lot of graphic designers hanging around in here. I’m curious if any of you have a good time tracking software that you really like. I’ve tried a couple, and I know what I want….I think. I want something that automatically tracks lots of programs (obviously graphic programs are most important to me) as well as individual documents. I tried TaskCapture, but you couldn’t export your time sheets to a spreadsheet. So, I emailed them and got a demo of their ProjectTracker. Wow. Too much for me. I’m just one person and one computer. So, I don’t need to have the server/multi-user project functionality of ProjectTracker. I just downloaded a demo of Vakcer Project Tracker, but haven’t really had much time to play with it. It seems a little unwieldy, though. So, does anyone have one they use and LOVE? I’ve GOT to get my billing under control!

Thanks

Sorry,

I just have an Excel spreadsheet that I fill in the time as I go. Simple, easy and relatively hassle free.

I’ve been using pen and paper for a long time, but recently went "high tech": I now note things down with the Post-It software on my Mac.

Haven’t said anything before because it’s obviously not what you’re looking for…

That is high tech! I still use a pencil.

CS now saves complete history on an image. Including file open and close time, as well as all steps in between. Don’t know if that helps.

Take a look at <http://www.sphericaltech.com/timesheet-software.asp>. We bought 2 copies of the Professional Edition and like it a lot. Would like to know what you think.
