Hi-

I need to design a CD label and don’t really like the features of all the CD label creating software. Would anyone have a file with a channel of the size of a CD label? Or anyone have any idea what the size is and How I would go about creating a label in the exact size? (I will later import to label software to print it properly.)

Maybe an online tutorial?

Thanks, Josh

Josh,

Check out the website of the manufacturer of your particular labels. Companies like Fellowes, Avery and Memorex have pre-built templates available for download on their website. Usually they have a variety of templates ready for various programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw, Quark Xpress, InDesign and Word. This’ll let you bypass the label software and free you up to be a bit more creative.
