Photshop 7 quit loading

For some reason our photoshop 7 has stopped loading. Before lunch it was running fine. Now when you go to load it it starts the splash screen and goes through the loading process, then (on what I belive is the final "initializing" it just closes out. No error messages nothing. We have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but that didnt help. Anyone know what is going on?

System is a Dell Dimension 4400 512MB ram

Your preferences file (of PS) is damaged. See the FAQ for how to delete it. (uninst/reinstalling PS doesn’t).

Don’t know the exact filename but it’s a .psp

Never launch PS right after lunch.
