Hi,

When making an histogram of (single channel) pixel intensities for a selection made of multiple regions, the result is often (but not always) very far from the expected one.

Eg, when combining two similarly-sized regions with average pixel values of 133 and 145, you can get a combined average which is well outside the 133-145 range, corresponding to a combined histogram which does not look at all like the combination of the two single-region histograms.

Has anyone encountered that problem ? and then solved it ?

Thanks for your help !
Andre
