Failure….urgent help

I woke up…went to college as normal and came home to the horror of Photoshop not working. I started it up and it loaded then at the intro after a few loaded things it said "Unable to continue because of a hardward or system error" I have tryed reinstallation of Photoshop.

Using Photoshop7 with Windows XP. This is my first ever problem.
