I have an adobe font installed (adobe caslon) and need to transfer it to another computer. I have ATM installed so if I go to control panel->fonts it is not there, as ATM creates a special postscript folder. I know that postscript files have two parts, a .pfm file and a .pfb file.

In this case the font metrics file is AWRG___.PFM and the font outline file is AWRG___.PFB.

I suppose if I copy these two files into the appropriate folder on the other computer, it should work. However, this seems like a very involved process, especially if I had to transfer more than a few fonts.

I know there must be an easier way than going to atm, opening a file like acaslon regular, writing down the pfm and pfb files, navigating to them, copying them and then transferring them to another computer and sticking them in their proper folders!

Can anyone help???

Thanks,

Tom
