am creating a web site and made several rollover buttons in photoshop 7…. the buttons are white with colored text… i want my website background to be white also, my question is why is it when i make these white buttons then place them on my site which has a white background i get a border that comes around the buttons that i did not create????? i made the buttons white because i was trying to create the effect that it was just the text there and you would just click on the text and not an ugly button so it would look a little cleaner as far as my web site looked…

my computer is a pentium 4 2.4ghz processor with 256MB ram running on Windows XP

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! THANK YOU TO WHOEVER HELPS!! if you want you can e-mail me at thanks

In your HTML code change the border attributes to 0

<img src="your_image.jpg" width="???" height="???" border="0">

You should look into using CSS if you just want text that changes color on a rollover. It is easily done through the styles.

Yes, but only with so-called web safe fonts and sizes. Sounded like the OP was referring to some custom "imagry" wherein there were color changes involved.

What color is the border around the image? If its blue, then Shecky is right and it’s probably just you forgot to disable borders for your html images.
