Missing Characters

I have Photoshop 5.5, recently re-installed on a WinXP computer (hebre locale).
When I try to put text objects on images, all i get is gibrish, even i I choose hebrew fonts.

Please help

I seem to remember this problem from 5.5. Try changing the anti-alias (Strong, Crisp, etc.)from whatever it is to something else and see if that fixes it.
