Although I have been using photoshop for a long time I am a photoshop novice. I scan the pages of exam keys and convert them to gif’s before posting them on my web page for my students to view. I would like to type comments onto the scanned gif’s but when I try to do this using the font tool the fonts that I get are way too big. I have tried to shrink the resulting text but I must admit that I don’t know how to shrink parts of gif’s in photoshop. My students probably won’t care if the quality is not perfect and I just want to add text rapidly.

MacBook Pro 16” Mockups 🔥

– in 4 materials (clay versions included)

– 12 scenes

– 48 MacBook Pro 16″ mockups

– 6000 x 4500 px

Go to window: character to bring up the character palette. You can then specify the character size before typing.

Or having typed your text – reselect and adjust the size in the text size box on the toolbar
(You can reselect the text by clicking on the text thumbnail on the text layer) Would it be simpler to scan using OCR (optical character recognition) most scanners come with some form of that software??
