Is there a way to link all/multiple layers? By that I mean is there a QUICK way? say for instance if I have a layer set with 15 layers in, and I want to link 10 of them together. Do I have to click the little chain icon ten times? or is there a fangled labour saving way? Its a ballache, especially as I’ve got 8 layer sets with 15 layers in each.

Thanks

If they’re all lined up nice and purdy, just click and drag over the link boxes.

Thank you very much, I spent a good hour click-click-clicking today, that is SO easy.

Thanks again:)

LOL. Can’t say I haven’t done the same myself.

You’re welcome.

I’ve been using photoshop for 2 years and I have never known about that trick. My index finger thanks you, Graffiti!

You can also use the same trick to turn visibility on/off.

Also works in InDesign and Illustrator for locking and visibility of layers.

Hope your finger heals soon. 🙂

This will really help ya for sure…

Hold the Alt(Win)/Option(Mac) + Click on the eye icon to hide all other layers that are currently visiible (works also for the link icon)

If layers exist in a Clipping Group or Set Alt(Win)/Option(Mac) + Click on the eye icon will preserve the visibilty of those layers within, and hide all others outside them….

give em a try
cheers
