Hello All.

Please pardon the question if it is not in the appropriate group. I have been asked to find out how to create forms in photoshop OR allow the code to be put in a slice in photoshop from another program. Here is what he would like to do.

In PS, my boss creates a slice where the form will go.
He creates the form in CuteSite Builder 4.0 and cuts the html code out. He (theoretically) pastes the code into PS/IR and VIOLA.

I know nothing about this stuff, can someone please help educate through a link or first hand knowledge? I have searched the google groups and couldn’t find anything with the words "Forms, Creating forms" They all bring back either ads or spam type of advertisements, or stuff that is not relevant to my needs.

Thanks!

Photoshop is not an HTML editor. It is an image editor. What you are asking is something like "My boss wants me to find out how to use a hammer to remove a screw from a board." The answer is, "You don’t. You use a screwdriver, not a hammer."

In this case, the answer is, "You don’t. You use an HTML editor like Adobe GoLive, not Photoshop."

Thank you Tacit.

That part I knew, and I told my boss PS doesn’t do HTML, but he wanted to hear it from a credible source.

Wow. If my boss openly doubted my credibility and insisted upon my statements being validated by a complete stranger on Usenet, I think I’d find a new boss.

Yeah, what he said.

In fact, since my boss often makes decisions based on things he reads online, perhaps it’s time for me to start looking for a new boss, too…

…oh, wait, I am the boss. Er, nevermind. 🙂

It must be nice to be respected so highly by your boss. He should listen to you not a bunch of people he doesn’t know on a newsgroup.
