Crop Tool not "smooth" at end

Using CS –
When I use the crop tool, at the end of the selection, it is not smooth – it seems to jump a bit.
Any thoughts on this?

Do you have ‘feather’ set to zero?

Not sure I understand. Try holding down Ctrl (or on Mac, Command) as you change the size. That do it?

Yes, that is correct. The Crop tool snaps to guides and snaps to the edge of an image.

If you do not want it to do this, hold down the Control key on your keyboard as you resize the crop area.
