Hi all, I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to click on an image and select a single point at that location? It seems like such a simple task, yet I can’t seem to figure out how. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Paul Rubin

OK I tried this.
magnified to maximum>then used marquee tool but set Style to fixed size, then type in 1px by 1 px, make sure feather is at 0

It’s hard to know exactly what you’re trying to do. Do you mean select a single pixel in an image, or do you mean select a single point as in select a single point on a path?

If you want to select a single pixel, set the Marquee tool to Fixed Size, 1 pixel by 1 pixel.

If you want to select a single point on a path, use the Direct Select tool–it’s under the Pen tool flyout (click and hold the mouse button on the Pen tool and choose the tool that looks like an arrow).
