I like to search for pictures that need fixing. It’s a good learnin experience for anyone I think. Anyhow, my wife gave me this gem toda and said fix this!

It has poor exposure to begin with, and somehow there was a film on th negative that left a nice red mark on the print. I’m somewha embarrassed at the amount of time I spent on it so far. It’s no complete, but it isn’t an important picture anyway so I left it wher it stands.

I started by doing some level adjustments and whatnot, trying to ge the initial picture to look ok. I did a quickmask over the red area an applied a hue/sat adjustment. I hand painted a couple things like th girls hair and the left side of the cabinet. I ended up replacing th wall on the left altogether since it looked so crappy.

Anyways, it’s a challenge to me so I thought maybe someone else woul enjoy playing with it. I’ve even linked my work to critique! Uh oh!

Folks here don’t like binariy posts, text only. Post images to alt.binaries.pictures.utilities and tell everyone here the subject line to look for.
