He could cut one out of a piece of paper and stick it on his monitor screen. Or if he was an advanced user he could scan it in.

How can you add arrow to a pic if you want to pin point a specific area of the pic to the viewer?Use the Line Tool (Shapes). When you select it there’s a little dropdown triangle in the Options Bar that allows you to add arrowheads.

photograph of it with his digital camera, print that out and then scan it and then cut and paste the arrow from
