I have created a logo and I am having trouble enlarging it. It has a resolution of 500 and yet getting it to go bigger for a 5×3 outside banner is becoming impossible.. I am even having trouble shrinking it now… It becomes pixilated and grainy when I enlarge and jsut strange when I shrink it now..

500 what?

FWIW, Photoshop is not the ideal application for logo creating especially if you’re going to be creating huge signs.

Logos should be created in a vector drawing application such as Corel Draw, Illustrator, or Freehand.

To bring a minor correction to Bob’s post, that would be Illustrator, Corel Draw or Freehand.

I considered that, but didn’t want his stock price to drop and threw him a bone.

I didn’t put them in any particular order. 😉

Corel was taken private a while back. Even at $1.05 a share I made money.

But you will be interested to know that Photopaint 12, according to one of the Corel guys on the Corel newsgroup, will NOT contain CDS technology.
