Right-Clicking in CS displays all "hidden" layers in the context menu…

In previous versions, only the "visible" layers were shown when right-clicking and selecting a layer. Why does the new CS version also show the hidden ones, and is there a way to show ONLY the visible ones? I don’t want to deal with hidden layers, that’s the reason I hide them.

Thanks!

RDenis,

I tried to duplicate your situation—I’m pretty new at PS overall–but utilize the right click on the document big time for layer selecting. I didn’t have a problem with it selecting hidden layers.

I don’t know–but check to see if "auto select layer" on top is selected (shouldn’t be—I had a weird thing before with that)

Or the old reset preferences on start up that seems to be a "cure-all" for "weird stuff."

Hopefully the "smart people" will arrive soon!
