I have been able to Lock up PSCS with several different situations from Magic wand to the text tool. Now, I can lock it up sending a print to a simple ink jet printer! I can open the exact same file with PS 7.01 and have ZERO problems! I can recover by "killing" PSCS (I now think should be called POS) with the task manager. I have 1 gig of RAM and a 2 gig processor. I have tried memory settings from 70% down to 40% and results are the same.
What?!?!?!?!?!

What kind of processor(s)? There is some discussion about dual processor systems with hyperthreading and a problem in the magic wand and paint bucket tools.

But I haven’t heard of any problems printing – other than from people with corrupt or buggy printer drivers.
