I am trying to learn Photoshop and one of the tutorials that I am doing requires me to use the "Text Tool". But I Can’t find it anywhere on my toolbar. The only thing that comes close is the "type tool". And the turtorial only tells u to use it and not where it is….i tried looking on the internet but they all just tell you what the "text tool" does not where it is. Am I missing something here?

The text tool is the type tool.

It’s on the main tool palette. It’s shown as a "T".

Turn off your computer now and go watch TV or read a book. You are in world of hurt and you aren’t even out of the gate yet. Common sens would tell you to pick the tool that "seems" to be what they mean an move on to the next part of the tutorial. If it works and you’re o track still then you probably got the right tool.

It scares me to know there are people like you in the world

Are you talking about his IQ? I think you’re overestimating him. :))))

Shall we help him anyway?

HINT: Navin, terms "Type" and "Typography" are related. (If you can figure this one, you get 10 out of total 100 points. And of course, another tip.)

I can’t believe that you guys are dragging this thing out this long.

Look here:

Look at the name of the title character. Look at the name of the OP.

‘Nuff said.
