I have 2 pages that were scanned separately in TIFF.
Now I would like to create a single page with the original pages joined along the vertical edge.

How can I do that?

I tried copy&paste but the pages ended up on top of each other.

TIA,

-Ramon

select new, make it big enough to hold both images, drag ist image into new image, line it up with a corner of new image space, drag 2nd image in, select the difference mode from the layer palette move it about until the over lap area is pure black (perfecr alignmant) switch back to normal mode.

Image>Canvas Size, increase the canvas size appropriately (probably 200 percent in either the width or height. Use the Move tool (cross) to drag the layers until they are aligned.

You don’t mention which version you have. CS has a "stitch" feature made for this kind of thing.

Use the Canvas Size command on one of the scans to double its width.

Copy and paste the other scan into it.

Use the Move tool to move the pasted scan where you want it to be.
