Hi all,

how can i take a path and make it into a shape clipping path, like the paths made by the shape tool?

Try this:
1. Draw the shape you want as a path using the Pen
tool.
2. Select the shape using the rectangular marquee
tool.
3. Choose Edit > Define Custom Shape.
4. Name the shape and click OK
To access your new shape, click on the Custom
Shape tool. Then click on the Shape down arrow in
the Options bar. The new shape is the last one of
those displayed. Click on it to select it.
