Hi-
That’s my question. I’m troubleshooting my system and so I want to get rid of absolutely everything that’s not esential. I’ve installed Photoshop CS, and I see PS 7 is still there. Can I remove it ? Or will that affect the functioning of CS ? Thanks,…Frank

If it wasn’t an upgrade and/or you do not need to transfer any preferences, then should be okay. Of course there may be others who answer with a more defined outlook.

Remove to your hearts content.

No effect whatsoever but, it may be a good idea to hang on to 7 for a while until you adjust to CS. Nothing like being on a deadline and running into something unexpected eh?

The "upgrade" should be a complete version of it’s own but like I said, you may want to keep 7.0 around for a bit until you get used to CS. 🙂
