I’m struggling with getting accurate color in my prints (aren’t we all). I’ve calibrated my Viewsonic LCD with the Colorvision Spyder and am printing to an Epson 2200. I’m still not getting prints that are acceptably close to what’s on the screen.

One thing that confuses me is what I’m supposed to be choosing for Print Space. Do I leave it as Same as Source, or do I choose the Default Profile that the Spyder created?

I know that what comes out of the printer will never match exactly what’s on the screen, but with the high-quality equipment I’m working with I’m sure I can do better than what I’m getting.

Jesse,

The profile you’ve made with the Colorvision Spyder is for the monitor and the monitor only.

I can recommend a look at:
