Problem with file browser all of a sudden

PS7. My file browser just today has nothing in the upper left panel…no file directories. THumbnails are in the big panel on the right. If I click on a thumbnail it shows up in the left center panel with the file info below it. But nothing in the upper left. Can’t navigate like that. Anybody have any ideas?

Rocket, when something like that happens to me, I usually trash the preferences and start over. Have you done that yet?
