Does anyone know if it’s possible to increase the pixel width of the guides in Photoshop 7.0? If so please explain.
–Thanks, Monica

No can do afaik. Why would you want to? There may be another solution…

You can always add temp layer and stroke it along a guide to the pixel width of your choice… but no snap – again, though, where should it snap – the middle or the edge. I think that’s why it’s the size it is.

Monica, go into your Edit/Preferences/Guides,grids & slices folder and change the color of your guides to something different. You have 9 choices. Perhaps another color will help you achieve your goal.
