I have PhotoShop CS2 as well as PS Elements Ver: 3.0 installed on my home PC XP Pro. I teach novice/beginning digital photo manipulation-enhancement courses and use PS Elements Ver: 2.0 but will be using the new 3.0. On both CS2 & Ver: 3.0, whenever I open the Filters Gallery or the Lens Correction dialog screens (boxes), neither CS2 or Ver:3.0 let me maximize these screens. The bottom and right sides are always "cut off". Have tried deleting prefs files, rebooting many times etc. The screens corner grab handles for re-sizing only reduce slightly the screens size, but don’t enlarge the other way. Have found several users on older newsgroups with the similar problem but nothing suggested has allowed me to expand these boxes to access the "value" boxes on the bottom and right hand sides.

Thanks for any advice….

Check the web site of your video card manufacturer and make sure you have the most recent XP-compatible drivers installed.

Better yet, just make sure your screen resolution is at least 1024 x 768, otherwise you won’t see the whole filter.

Hope this helps,

To Tom & Dave, I reset the screen resolution and that did the trick. I have used computers for many years and feel so stupid for not knowing how to fix this myself. Thank you so very much for taking the time and trouble to help me, you have made Australia just that much brighter for me by your gesture.
