Hi all,

I have just purchased the above printer and am quite please with it.

The software has installed a number of ICC Printer profiles which I can use when printing from PS.

They are:

Canon iP4000 MP2

Canon iP4000 PR1

Canon iP4000 PR2

Canon iP4000 SP1

Canon iP4000 SP2

I have been unable to locate specific information about what each profile is intended for. Does anybody here know what they are or where I might find that info. (I have goggled but no hits that have much detail in).

Many thanks
Steve

MP = Matte Paper
PR = Photo Paper Pro
SP = Photo Paper Plus Glossy
The numbers are quality sittings, with 2 being a higher quality than 1. So if you intended to print at your printer driver’s highest quality setting you would pick a profile with a quality setting of 2 (where available) rather than 1. Canon does make mention of these in a document on their web site but it is hard to find!
