Hey!
I have this problem with Photoshop CS, when I try to do a distort>glass effect, photoshop doesn’t realy distort the image, it simply fills the spots where there ought to be transparent space with the secondary color in the color picker while keeping the size of the original objet… for example… I traced a blue bar on a transparent background and inverted my colors in the color picker so as to keep the same blue… I distorted… and got the exact same bar…
I’m realy lost and would appreciate any help possible!

So? Does anyone have ANY idea as to what might cause this?

Gustav,

Have you read up on the distort>Glass filter in the Help file?

" Glass
Makes an image appear as if it is being viewed through different types of glass. You can choose a glass effect or create your own glass surface as a Photoshop file and apply it. You can adjust scaling, distortion, and smoothness settings. When using surface controls with a file, follow the instructions for the Displace filter. For more information about Glass filter controls, see Using texture and glass surface controls."

Yeah, I’ve been using the exact same settings as I’ve been using in Photoshop 6 and photoshop 7…
