Brian it helps if you are a little more specific, then we can give you better answers.

Are you asking how do you get the photos taken with a digital camera into Photoshop?

If you want to download the images directly from your camera you are most likely going to have to add the software that came with the camera onto your computer. Next you can plug in your camera and download the images. Once your images are on your hard drive, then as Dave said you open the files in Photoshop. Consulting the camera manual will give you the best start.

If your images are on a CD you open them as any file in Photoshop.

Personally, I connect my camera, and import them directly into photoshop <shrug>

Ya, its a hard question to answer without knowing the details. My Nikon’s software makes it really easy to view images, so I use it’s features.

1. Buy a memory card adapter for your computer
2. Unplug said card from your camera
3. Install card in the memory reader unit
4. Using Explorer, copy all the files that you want onto your hard disk
5. Open the images with whatever photo imaging software you have.

This method avoids the excessive time take to read the image via the camera’s computer and avoids the battery drain that necessarily insues. You also don’t have to fiddle with camera software loaded on your computer. wrote in message
