AHHH My Foreground and BAckground colours are only shades of Gray. HELP

I dont know what has happened but whenever I try to change colors no matter what color I choose it also turns into a shade of gray. Can someone please tell me how to change it back to normal. Thanks.

Also make sure you haven’t hit the Q key (quick mask) on the keyboard. Quick mask only uses black and white and shades of gray.

And if you’re not in greyscale mode, make sure you are not currently painting on a layer mask.
