Hello this is my question? My digital cameras embedded profile is sRGB IEC61966-2.1 In the color settings in ps cs my working space RGB setting is sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Should I change this to adobe RGB 1998? If I change will I have to deal with the Profile Mismatches dialog box every time I open a picture?
Thank Dennis.

Keep it at sRGB. No reason for you to work in deeper color spaces for now, as long as your source(s) are sRGB.

Dennis,
As an experiment, you might "softproof" the incoming image from your camera in the standard colorspaces, sRGB, ColorMatchRGB, AdobeRGB, BruceRGB, and see which appears most desireable. It is likely that your camera images contain more color gamut than the sRGB space that is indicated by the EXIF file. If you prefer the look of one of the other colorspaces in "softproof", then you’ve answered your own question in a definitive manner.

If you decide to use another working space other than sRGB, then download and install the IgnoreEXIF utility.

🙂
