A file saved in PhotoShop on a PC can be opened with PhotoShop an a Mac with no problems. When saving a new file on a Mac you will have to manually add the .psd extension to the file name. The file can then be opened on either computer.

I had this situation while in school. The school used Macs while everyone in the class used a PC at home. The files went back and forth easily with no issues.

You don’t have to manually add the extension on a Mac. Just set it to always add the extension in Preferences. I believe you should always use the extensions whether on PC or Mac.

The Poppyseed roll is my favorite. I get Debbie to give me one as often as I can. 🙂
