hi,,
i have just designed a record label using two colours. first i designed it as a cmyk file,,,and now i need to convert it to 2 colour pantone. first i opened a new cmyk file…
deleted the cmyk channels…
put in 2 new spot channels…with the pantone colours i wanted to use.. then pasted both layers (each a different colour) from the original cmyk file in to the individual spot channels.
the problem is,,,now the colours look different (allot paler)than before…is this normal? will it print the original colours at the printers? when i double cick each channel it comes up with the correct pantone code…so is everything fine?
please help.
