Hello,
I want to use the sharpen tool in order to sharpen all the image. Right now – what I am doing is that I drag the mouse in every pixel on the screen, which is not conveniant way to do so.

I want to select all the image and do sharpen in one click.
How can I do that ?

Thanks 🙂
Use the Sharpen filters. Unsharp Mask.

Use the ‘sharpen’ menu instead of the sharpen tool (or learn to use Unsharp Mask, which is better).

I’ve recently tried a different method of sharpening. While I’m comfortable with Unsharp Mask and also use the Focalblade plug-in a lot, I’ve found that in some circumstances using the hi-pass filter on a copy of the image above the target layer, with that layer set to "overlay" mode, can give very nice and controlled level of sharpening (use changes in opacity to control the effect).

I recently wanted to sharpen the surface details of the petals of a white orchid without oversharpening the edges … this technique did the trick for me. Might be worth some experimenting-with to add to your toolkit.
