I’m making some fonts for work. I’m doing a terrific job creating the letters in illustrator, what I don’t know is how to convert the vector shapes into a working font that I can download into Photoshop. Any suggestions where I could go to find out what to do next?

http://www.fontlab.com/index.php Be sure to look through their FAQ section(s). You really should consider using one of their font editors … *much* easier than trying to assemble a font in either Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw
And then possibly look over the Adobe manual on creating Multiple Master fonts [Multiple Master fonts are essentially obsolete, but the general font design principles outlined in this publication are still good) …
